Tutoring Policies
Please review our policies carefully before booking a tutoring session. By scheduling a lesson, you agree to all policies outlined below.
Terms and Conditions
By scheduling a tutoring lesson, you agree to all policies laid out below:
Refunds
None of our goods or services are refundable. If you have any questions, please contact us via email before making a purchase.
Cancellations
Notification of cancellation must occur 24+ hours in advance of the scheduled lesson time in order to not be charged. If the lesson is cancelled within the 24 hour period, the card on file will be charged the full amount (the reserved lesson duration multiplied by the designated rate).
Rescheduling
If notified within the 24 hour period prior to the scheduled lesson time, and if availability exists, all lesson types are able to be rescheduled to a different time that day for a $20 fee. The card on file will be charged the full amount (the reserved lesson duration multiplied by the designated rate) in addition to the rescheduling fee.
If no available timeslot exists that day, the cancellation policy stated above will go into effect.
No Shows
If a student does not show up to a scheduled lesson, the card on file will be charged the full amount (the reserved lesson duration multiplied by the designated rate).
Payments
CalcPrep uses Stripe to process payments and securely handle your financial transactions. By providing your payment information at the time of booking, you consent to Stripe storing your card details for the purpose of processing current and future transactions, including recurring payments or additional charges related to your bookings.
Storage and Security: Stripe is responsible for securely storing and encrypting your payment information. We do not have access to your full card details and are not liable for any issues arising from the storage or handling of your payment information by Stripe.
Charges: Any future charges, including those related to rescheduling or additional services, will be processed using the payment information stored by Stripe. It is your responsibility to ensure that your payment information is accurate and up-to-date.
Liability: CalcPrep is not responsible for any issues or disputes related to the storage, security, or processing of payment information by Stripe. All payment-related concerns should be directed to Stripe's customer support.

Disputes
For any disputes regarding charges incurred, please notify us via contact form, email, or phone.
Invoices
If a payment is not successfully processed using the payment information stored on file, an invoice will be sent to the address on file. This invoice must be paid in full prior to the next scheduled lesson or that lesson will be cancelled. The payment information used to fulfill the invoice will be used moving forward for future transactions unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Terminology
Notified refers to communication via contact form, email, or phone.
Designated rate refers to the rate agreed on during scheduling.
Reserved lesson duration refers to the length of the lesson chosen during scheduling.
