Tutoring Services

The following terms apply specifically to CalcPrep's online tutoring services:

Booking and Cancellation

Tutoring sessions must be booked through our online scheduling system. You may cancel or reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, as well as no-shows, incur the entire session cost. Rescheduled lessons within the 24 hour period, if permitted, will incur a rescheduling fee of $20.

Payment and Refunds

Payment information is due at the time of booking, whereas payment is only authorized after the session has been completed. If you are not satisfied with a tutoring session for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of the session. We may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion depending on the circumstances.

Session Conduct

Both tutors and students are expected to conduct themselves professionally during sessions. CalcPrep reserves the right to terminate any session if a student engages in inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to: requesting solutions to graded assignments without learning the material, harassment, or any form of academic dishonesty.

Recording Policy

Sessions may be recorded with the explicit consent of the tutor. These recordings are for personal educational use only and may not be shared, distributed, or posted online without written permission from CalcPrep. CalcPrep may use anonymized session data for training and quality improvement purposes.

Materials and Intellectual Property

Any materials provided during tutoring sessions are subject to the same copyright protections as other content on this site. Students may use these materials for their personal educational purposes only. Tutors retain intellectual property rights to any original content they create during sessions, while CalcPrep retains rights to company-provided materials.

Results Disclaimer

While we strive to provide the highest quality tutoring services, CalcPrep cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes or improvements in grades. Results vary based on student effort, attendance, and other factors outside our control.
