Calculus 2

Before you get started with the Calculus 2 material, consider working through Preparing for Calculus 1 first.

Going from Calculus 1 to Calculus 2

Calculus 1 introduced us to the idea of limits, derivatives, and integrals. We dove into analyzing functions, optimizing values, and calculating area and volume of regions.

Depending on your course, different topics might have been covered.

Calculus 2 builds up integration. We look at how to solve more complex integrals for which our simple u-substitution technique won't cut it, as well as how to apply integrals to solve real world applications. We also typically dive into some other topics: parametric and polar curves, sequences and series, and more depending on the course.
